Privacy policy
Draft — to be reviewed by the owner’s lawyer before public launch. Last updated: October 2026.
1. Who we are
“Roll for Lawyers” is an online software service by MEGA Business Group (“MEGA”) that helps law offices and in-house legal departments organise their work. This policy explains how we handle personal data on the website and in the app.
2. Our role and the office’s role
Each subscribing office is the controller of its clients’ data, case data and the data of visitors to its consultation page. MEGA processes that data on the office’s behalf and on its instructions, solely to provide the service. MEGA is the controller of data about website visitors and account users.
3. Legal framework
We follow the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations, as well as any requirements issued by the Personal Data Protection Center. This section will be completed after advice from a specialist on licensing, permits and cross-border transfers.
4. Data we process
- Account data: name, e-mail, mobile number and role in the office.
- Work data entered by the office: clients, cases, hearings, documents and fees.
- Pilot requests, contact messages and “Chat with us” conversations.
- Technical data needed for security: sign-in and change logs, IP address.
5. Purposes
Providing, operating and securing the service, answering enquiries, sending the notifications users ask for, and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell data and we never use office data for advertising.
6. Security
Strict separation between offices, role-based permissions, an audit trail of every change, files kept in a private folder and opened only through short-lived signed links, encrypted connections and backups.
7. Retention and deletion
Office data is kept for the duration of the subscription. On cancellation the office can ask for an export or deletion, subject to any statutory retention periods.
8. Your rights
Everyone may access and correct their data and ask for deletion or object to processing within the limits of the law. Clients of an office should contact that office; website visitors can contact us directly.
9. Incidents
If an incident affects personal data, we notify the affected office without delay and support it in reporting within the deadlines set by law.
10. Contact
